CAJII operates under an open access model, ensuring that all content is freely available without subscription or access fees. All submissions undergo rigorous double-blind peer review. Authors retain copyright of their work under a Creative Commons license, and readers are permitted to download, share, and adapt the material with proper attribution. The journal is committed to ethical publishing practices and adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The journal's scope includes but is not limited to topics such as digital transformation, sustainable innovation, start-up ecosystems, social innovation, educational innovation, and interdisciplinary research that bridges engineering, natural sciences, economics, and humanities. CAJII encourages submissions that demonstrate practical applications and policy implications of integrative innovation research.

As part of our dissemination strategy, CAJII participates in digital preservation services such as LOCKSS and CLOCKSS and provides metadata to indexing services via the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH). The journal is actively working toward inclusion in major indexing databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, Crossref, and regional platforms like eLibrary.ru.
